أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَمِّي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: إِنِّي لأَسْمَعُ الْحَدِيثَ أَسْتَحْسِنُهُ فَمَا يَمْنَعُنِي مِنْ ذِكْرِهِ إِلا كَرَاهِيَةُ أَنْ يَسْمَعَهُ سَامِعٌ فَيَقْتَدِيَ بِهِ أَسْمَعُهُ مِنَ الرَّجُلِ لا أَثِقُ بِهِ قَدْ حَدَّثَ عَمَّنْ أَثِقُ بِهِ وَأَسْمَعُهُ مِنَ الرَّجُلِ أَثِقُ بِهِ قَدْ حَدَّثَ بِهِ عَمَّنْ لا أَثِقُ بِهِ. وَقَالَ سَعْدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ: لا يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلا الثِّقَاتُ.
مسند امام شافی · Hadith 1812
Tell us Shafei may Allah be pleased with him, said: Tell us uncle Mohammed bin Ali, from Hisham ibn Urwa from his father said: I hear talk Osthassanh what prevents me from mentioning only hate to hear him hear Afiktda him hear from the man I do not trust him has happened to those who trust him and heard him Of man I trust in him, he has spoken to him than I do not trust him. Saad bin Ibrahim said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, does not speak except for trustworthiness.
