أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ التِّنِّيسِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَسِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُسَيْدٍ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ لأَبِي قَتَادَةَ: مَا لَكَ لا تُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَمَا يُحَدِّثُ عَنْهُ النَّاسُ؟ قَالَتْ: فَقَالَ أَبُو قَتَادَةَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ لِجَنْبِهِ مَضْجَعًا مِنَ النَّارِ» ، فَجَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ، وَيَمْسَحُ بِيَدِهِ الأَرْضَ.

Tell us Amr ibn Abi Salamah Ltinaysa, Abd al-Rahman ibn Muhammad, from Usayd ibn Abi acid, from his mother, she said: I said to Abu Qatada: What you do not talk about the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him as it happens about people? She said: Abu Qatada said: I heard the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him says: «lied deliberately, let him take to his side of the bed in the midst of fire», and started the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him say that, and wipe his hand ground.
