أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: كُنَّا يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ أَلْفًا وَأَرْبَعَ مِائَةٍ، وَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَنْتُمُ الْيَوْمَ خَيْرُ أَهْلِ الأَرْضِ» . قَالَ جَابِرٌ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: لَوْ كُنْتُ أُبْصِرُ لأَرَيْتُكُمْ مَوْضِعَ الشَّجَرَةِ. أَخْرَجَهُ فِي كِتَابِ اخْتِلافِ مَالِكٍ وَالشَّافِعِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا.
مسند امام شافی · Hadith 1787
Tell us Shafei may Allah be pleased with him, he said: Tell us Sufian, Amr, Jabir bin Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, said: We were Hudaybiyah thousand days and four hundred, said the Prophet peace be upon him: «You are today the good people of the earth». Jabir, may God be pleased with him, said: If I had been sighted, I would have shown you the location of the tree. Bring it in the book of the difference of Malik and Al-Shafi’i, may God be pleased with them.
