قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ : وَأَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ : أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ غَرَّبَ، ثُمَّ لَمْ تَزَلْ تِلْكَ السُّنَّةَ.

Umar bin Al-Khattab also exiled such a person, and this tradition is still valid.
