قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ فِي كِتَابِهِ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ: أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ اشْتَرَى مِنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ جَارِيَةً فَأُخْبِرَ أَنَّ لَهَا زَوْجًا فَرَدَّهَا. أَخْرَجَ الأَوَّلَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الرِّسَالَةِ، وَالثَّانِيَ وَالثَّالِثَ مِنَ الْجُزْءِ الثَّانِي مِنَ اخْتِلافِ الْحَدِيثِ، وَالرَّابِعَ مِنْ كِتَابِ اخْتِلافِ عَلِيٍّ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ مِمَّا لَمْ يَسْمَعِ الرَّبِيعُ مِنَ الشَّافِعِيِّ.

Shafie said in his book: Tell us Sufian, syphilis, from Abu Salamah: that Abdul Rahman bin Auf bought from Asim bin Adi ongoing told that her husband returned that.
