أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنِ النَّجْشِ.

Al-Shafi’i, may God be pleased with him, told us, he said: Malik told us, on the authority of Nafi`, on the authority of Ibn Omar: that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
