أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَجِيدِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ: لا يَصْلُحُ لِلْمَرْأَةِ تَبِيتُ لَيْلَةً وَاحِدَةً إِذَا كَانَتْ فِي عِدَّةِ وَفَاةٍ أَوْ طَلاقٍ إِلا فِي بَيْتِهَا.
مسند امام شافی · Hadith 1327
Tell us Shafei may Allah be pleased with him, he said: Tell us Abdul Majid, son of Greg, from Ibn Shihab from Salim bin Abdullah, for the servants of God that he says is not fit for women spend the night one night if they are in a number of death or divorce only in her home.
