أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَنَّهَا أَخْبَرَتْهُ هَذِهِ الأَحَادِيثَ الثَّلاثَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَتْ زَيْنَبُ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ تُوُفِّيَ أَبُو سُفْيَانَ فَدَعَتْ أُمُّ حَبِيبَةَ بِطِيبٍ فِيهِ صُفْرَةُ خَلُوقٍ أَوْ غَيْرُهُ، فَدَهَنَتْ مِنْهُ جَارِيَةٌ ثُمَّ مَسَحَتْ بِعَارِضَيْهَا، ثُمَّ قَالَتْ: وَاللَّهِ مَا لِي بِالطِّيبِ مِنْ حَاجَةٍ غَيْرَ أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لا يَحِلُّ لامْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ أَنْ تُحِدَّ عَلَى مَيِّتٍ فَوْقَ ثَلاثِ لَيَالٍ، إِلا عَلَى زَوْجٍ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا» .

Tell us Shafei may Allah be pleased with him, said: Tell us Malik from Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr ibn Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Hazm, Hamid Bin Nafie, for Zainab girl Abi Salamah, she told him these conversations three, said: Zainab: entered Umm Habiba husband The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, when Abu Sufyan died, so she called the mother of Habiba a good one, in which there is a yellow of ritual or unlawfulness. Rdaha, then he said: God, what I Bettayeb need but I heard the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him says: «It is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and the day limit on a dead over three nights, but a pair of four months and ten days».
