أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: انْتَقَلَتْ حَفْصَةُ بِنْتُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حِينَ دَخَلَتْ فِي الدَّمِ فِي الْحَيْضَةِ الثَّالِثَةِ. قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ: فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِعَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، فَقَالَتْ: صَدَقَ عُرْوَةُ، وَقَدْ جَادَلَهَا فِي ذَلِكَ نَاسٌ، وَقَالُوا: إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُولُ: {ثَلاثَةَ قُرُوءٍ} [البقرة: 228] فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا: صَدَقْتُمْ، وَهَلْ تَدْرُونَ مَا الأَقْرَاءُ؟ الأَقْرَاءُ الأَطْهَارُ.
