أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمٌ وَعَبْدُ الْمَجِيدِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّ أَبَا الصَّهْبَاءِ قَالَ لابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: إِنَّمَا كَانَتِ الثَّلاثُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تُجْعَلُ وَاحِدَةً وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَثَلاثٍ مِنْ إِمَارَةِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: نَعَمْ.
مسند امام شافی · Hadith 1246
Tell us Shafei may Allah be pleased with him, he said: Tell us a Muslim and Abdul Majid, son of Greg, the son of Tawoos, from his father that Abu Sahba Ibn Abbas said: It was three at the time of the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him make one of Abu Bakr and three of the Emirate of Abu Omar May God be pleased with him, and Ibn Abbas said: Yes.
