أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّهُ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ فِي زَمَانِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. قَالَ عُمَرُ: فَسَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ: «مُرْهُ فَلْيُرَاجِعْهَا ثُمَّ لِيُمْسِكْهَا حَتَّى تَطْهُرَ، ثُمَّ تَحِيضَ ثُمَّ تَطْهُرَ فَإِنْ شَاءَ أَمْسَكَهَا وَإِنْ شَاءَ طَلَّقَهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَمَسَّ، فَتِلْكَ الْعِدَّةُ الَّتِي أَمَرَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يُطَلَّقَ لَهَا النِّسَاءُ» .

Al-Shafi’i, may God be pleased with him, told us, he said: Malik told us, on the authority of Nafi, on the authority of Ibn Omar: that he divorced his wife, and he said: Omar said: I asked the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him about it, he said: «once Fleuradjaha then maintained until purified, and then menstruate and then purified if he wishes he grabbed her if he wishes he divorced her before it touches, then the kit that God commanded them to be called women».
