أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ كَانَ يُوقِفُ الْمُولِي. أَخْرَجَ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْيَمِينِ مَعَ الشَّاهِدِ، وَإِلَى آخِرِ الثَّامِنِ مِنْ كِتَابِ الصَّدَاقِ وَالإِيلاءِ وَهِيَ آخِرُ مَا فِيهِ.
مسند امام شافی · Hadith 1231
Malik, on the authority of Jaafar bin Muhammad, told us about his father: that Ali, may God be pleased with him, was stopping the Mawlis. Take the two hadiths from the Book of Right Hand with the Witness, and to the end of the eighth from the Book of Dowry and Elijah, which is the last of it.
