أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْجَرْمِيِّ قَالَ: خَيَّرَنِي عَلِيٌّ بَيْنَ أُمِّي وَعَمِّي، ثُمَّ قَالَ لأَخٍ لِي أَصْغَرَ مِنِّي: وَهَذَا أَيْضًا لَوْ قَدْ بَلَغَ مَبْلَغَ هَذَا لَخَيَّرْتُهُ.
