قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ فِي كِتَابِهِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، يَقُولُ: كُنَّا نَغْزُو مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَيْسَ مَعَنَا نِسَاءٌ، فَأَرَدْنَا أَنْ نَخْتَصِيَ فَنَهَانَا عَنْ ذَلِكَ، ثُمَّ رَخَّصَ لَنَا أَنْ نَنْكِحَ الْمَرْأَةَ إِلَى أَجَلٍ بِالشَّيْءِ. أَخْرَجَ الأَوَّلَ مِنْ كِتَابِ اخْتِلافِ الْحَدِيثِ، وَالثَّانِيَ مِنْ كِتَابِ اخْتِلافِ عَلِيٍّ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ مِمَّا لَمْ يَسْمَعِ الرَّبِيعُ مِنَ الشَّافِعِيِّ.

Shafie said in his book, he said: Tell us Sufian, Ismail ibn Abi Khaled, Qais bin Abi Hazim, said: I heard Ibn Masood may Allah be pleased with him, says: We were invaded with the Prophet peace be upon him and not with us women, we wanted to Nkhtsa Venhana for Then, he authorized us to marry the woman for a long time. He brought out the first from the hadith different from the hadith, and the second from a different book of Ali and Abdullah from what the Rabbi did not hear from the Rabbi.
