أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الثِّقَةُ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: كَانَتْ عَائِشَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا تُخْطَبُ إِلَيْهَا الْمَرْأَةُ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا فَتَشْهَدُ، فَإِذَا بَقِيَتْ عُقْدَةُ النِّكَاحِ قَالَتْ لِبَعْضِ أَهْلِهَا: زَوِّجْ فَإِنَّ الْمَرْأَةَ لا تَلِي عُقْدَةَ النِّكَاحِ.
