أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى: {وَلا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيمَا عَرَّضْتُمْ بِهِ مِنْ خِطْبَةِ النِّسَاءِ} [البقرة: 235] . أَنْ يَقُولَ الرَّجُلُ لِلْمَرْأَةِ وَهِيَ فِي عِدَّتِهَا مِنْ وَفَاةِ زَوْجِهَا: إِنَّكِ عَلَيَّ لَكَرِيمَةٌ، وَإِنِّي فِيكِ لَرَاغِبٌ، وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى سَائِقٌ إِلَيْكِ خَيْرًا أَوْ رِزْقًا أَوْ نَحْوَ هَذَا مِنَ الْقَوْلِ.
مسند امام شافی · Hadith 1130
Tell us Shafei may Allah be pleased with him, he said: Tell us the owner, Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Qasim from his father that he was saying in the words of God Almighty: {and do not stand by you as you presented sermon women} [Al-Baqarah: 235]. The man says to a woman in a promised death of her husband: You're on a decent, and I am in you willing to, and the driver of God to you good or sustenance or this to say.
