أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لا يَخْطُبْ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ» .

Al-Shafi’i, may God be pleased with him, told us: “Malik told us, on the authority of Nafi, on the authority of Ibn Omar: that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and God’s blessings be upon him.”
