أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ أَسْهَمَ النَّاسَ الْمَنَازِلَ، فَطَارَ سَهْمُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ عَلَى سَعْدِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ سَعْدٌ: تَعَالَ حَتَّى أُقَاسِمَكَ مَالِي وَأَنْزِلَ لَكَ عَنْ أَيِّ امْرَأَتِي شِئْتَ؟ وَأَكْفِيكَ الْعَمَلَ، فَقَالَ لَهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ: بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ فِي أَهْلِكَ وَمَالِكَ دُلُّونِي عَلَى السُّوقِ، فَخَرَجَ إِلَيْهِ فَأَصَابَ شَيْئًا، فَخَطَبَ امْرَأَةً فَتَزَوَّجَهَا، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «عَلَى كَمْ تَزَوَّجْتَهَا يَا عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ» ؟ قَالَ: عَلَى نَوَاةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ، قَالَ: «أَوْلِمْ وَلَوْ بِشَاةٍ» .

Tell us Shafei may Allah be pleased with him, said: Tell us Sufian, Hamid long, Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him: that the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him when he came to the city people shares houses, Abdul Rahman bin Auf shares mycosis Saad bin spring, he said to him Saad: Come until I divide you with my money and bring you to you, whatever you want. The Okvic work, Abdul Rahman said to him: God bless you in your family and the owner show me on the market, went out to him and hit something, Fajtab woman married her, he said to him the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him: «How to marry her, O Abdul Rahman»? He said: On the nucleus of gold, he said: “Weakness, noiselessness.”
