أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، وَعَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، سَمِعَا جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ: دَبَّرَ رَجُلٌ مِنَّا غُلامًا لَيْسَ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرُهُ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ يَشْتَرِيهِ مِنِّي؟» فَاشْتَرَاهُ نُعَيْمُ بْنُ النَّحَّامِ.قَالَ عَمْرٌو: فَسَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا يَقُولُ: عَبْدًا قِبْطِيًّا مَاتَ عَامَ أَوَّلَ فِي إِمَارَةِ ابْن الزُّبَيْرِ، وَزَادَ أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ يُقَالُ لَهُ: يَعْقُوبُ.

Tell us the son Uyaynah, Amr ibn Dinar, and Abu Zubair heard Jabir bin Abdullah, says masterminded a man of us boy has no other money, said the Prophet, peace be upon him: «from buying me?» And Naim bin Al-Naham bought it. Amr said: So I heard Jabir say: Abdullah Qubta died the first year in the Emirate of Zabr Ibn Zub.
