أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، وَسُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الْوَلاءِ وَعَنْ هِبَتِهِ.

Tell us Shafei may Allah be pleased with him, he said: Tell us Malik bin Anas, and Sufian, Abdullah ibn Dinar from Ibn 'Umar: The Prophet, peace be upon him and forbade the sale of loyalty and his gift.
