أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّمَا الْوَلاءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ»

Malik told us about Hisham Bin Arwa, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her: that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said:
