أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّ عُمَرَ مَلَكَ مِائَةَ سَهْمٍ مِنْ خَيْبَرَ اشْتَرَاهَا فَأَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنِّي أَصَبْتُ مَا لَمْ أُصِبْ مِثْلَهُ قَطُّ، وَقَدْ أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَتَقَرَّبَ بِهِ إِلَى اللَّهِ تَعَالَى، فَقَالَ: «حَبِّسِ الأَصْلَ وَسَبِّلِ الثَّمَرَةَ» .
مسند امام شافی · Hadith 1061
Tell us Shafei may Allah be pleased with him, he said: Tell us Sufian, Abdullah ibn Umar, from Nafi, from Ibn 'Umar: that the age of the king of one hundred shares of Khyber bought came to the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him, said:' O Messenger of Allah, I have found unless I have never had the same, and I wanted to draw him closer to God Almighty. He said, “Confine the origin and the path of the fruit.”
