حَدَّثَنِاعَلِيُّ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَلَّی بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الرَّازِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِکٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ نَهَی عَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرَةِ حَتَّی يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهَا وَعَنْ النَّخْلِ حَتَّی يَزْهُوَ قِيلَ وَمَا يَزْهُو قَالَ يَحْمَارُّ أَوْ يَصْفَارُّقال ابو عبد الله کتبت انا عن معلی بن منصور الا اني لم اکتب هذالحديث عنه

Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet forbade the sale of fruits till their benefit is evident; and the sale of date palms till the dates are almost ripe. He was asked what 'are almost ripe' meant. He replied, "Got red and yellow."
