حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ حَمْزَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّبَيْدِيُّ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ کَانَ تَاجِرٌ يُدَايِنُ النَّاسَ فَإِذَا رَأَی مُعْسِرًا قَالَ لِفِتْيَانِهِ تَجَاوَزُوا عَنْهُ لَعَلَّ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَتَجَاوَزَ عَنَّا فَتَجَاوَزَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
صحیح بخاری · Hadith 2078
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "There was a merchant who used to lend the people, and whenever his debtor was in straitened circumstances, he would say to his employees, 'Forgive him so that Allah may forgive us.' So, Allah forgave him."
