حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ‏:‏ يُكْرَهُ أَنْ يُحِدَّ الرَّجُلُ إِلَى أَخِيهِ النَّظَرَ، أَوْ يُتْبِعَهُ بَصَرَهُ إِذَا وَلَّى، أَوْ يَسْأَلَهُ‏:‏ مِنْ أَيْنَ جِئْتَ، وَأَيْنَ تَذْهَبُ‏؟‏‏.‏

الأدب المفرد · Hadith 771

Mujahid said, "It is disliked for a man to stare at his brother or let his eye follow him when he turns his back or to ask, 'Where have you come from? Where are you going?'"
