حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُوُبْنُ مَرْذُوْقٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَۃُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ، عَنْ أَنَسِ ؓ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ کَانَ یُکْثِر أَنْ یَدْعُوَ بِھَذَا الدُّعَاءِ:((اللَّھُمَّ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْیَا حَسَنَۃً، وَفِي الْآخِرَۃِ حَسَنَۃُ، وَقِنَا عَذَابَ الَّنارِ))۔قَالَ شُعْبَۃُ فَزَکَرْتُہُ لِقَتَادَۃَ، فَقَالَ: کَانَ أَنْسٌ یَدْعُوْبِہِ، وَلَمْ یَرْفَعْہُ
الأدب المفرد · Hadith 677
Anas reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to make supplication with this supplication, "O Prophet, give us good in this world and good in the Next World and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."
