حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِيْ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِکِ ؓ یَقُوْلُ: کَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ یُقُوْلُ:((اللَّھُمَّ اِنَّي أَعُوْذُبِکَ مِنَ الْعَجْذِ وَالْکَسَلِ ، وَالْجُیْنِ وَالْھَرَمِ ، َوأَعُوْذُبِکَ مَنْ فِتْنَۃِ الْمَحْیَا وَالْمَمَاتِ، وَأَعُوِذُبِکَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ))

Anas ibn Malik said, "The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to say, 'O Allah, I seek refuge with You from incapacity, laziness, cowardice and old age. I seek refuge with You from the trials of life and death. I seek refuge with You from the punishment of the grave.'"
