حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَی أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ أَنَّ ابْنَ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَهُمْ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَائٌ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا يَقُولُ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ تُوُفِّيَ الْيَوْمَ رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌ مِنْ الْحَبَشِ فَهَلُمَّ فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ قَالَ فَصَفَفْنَا فَصَلَّی النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ وَنَحْنُ مَعَهُ صُفُوفٌ قَالَ أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ کُنْتُ فِي الصَّفِّ الثَّانِي
صحیح بخاری · Hadith 1320
Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah: The Prophet said, "Today a pious man from Ethiopia (i.e. An Najashi) has expired, come on to offer the funeral prayer." (Jabir said): We lined up in rows and after that the Prophet led the prayer and we were in rows. Jabir added, I was in the second row."
