أَخْبَرَنَا مُطَرِّفُ بْنُ مَازِنٍ، عَنْ مَعْمَرِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: لَمَّا قَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَهْمَ ذِي الْقُرْبَى بَيْنَ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ وَبَنِي الْمُطَّلِبِ أَتَيْتُهُ أَنَا وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، فَقُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، هَؤُلاءِ إِخْوَانُنَا مِنْ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ لا نُنْكِرُ فَضْلَهُمْ لِمَكَانِكَ الَّذِي وَضَعَكَ اللَّهُ بِهِ مِنْهُمْ، أَرَأَيْتَ إِخْوَانَنَا مِنْ بَنِي الْمُطَّلِبِ أَعْطَيْتَهُمْ وَتَرَكْتَنَا أَوْ مَنَعْتَنَا، وَإِنَّمَا قَرَابَتُنَا وَقَرَابَتُهُمْ وَاحِدَةٌ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّمَا بَنُو هَاشِمٍ وَبَنُو الْمُطَّلِبِ شَيْءٌ وَاحِدٌ هَكَذَا» . وَشَبَّكَ بَيْنَ أَصَابِعِهِ.

Tell us Mutarraf bin Mazen, Muammar bin Rashid, from Ibn Shihab said: Tell me Mohammed bin Jabir bin restaurant, his father said: When the Messenger of Allah Department peace be upon him shares a kinship between Bani Hashim and Bani demand Otih I Othman bin Affan may Allah be pleased From him, we said: O Messenger of God, these are our brothers from the sons of Hashem. We do not deny the merit of their place from you, who put it to you, that God has placed you, from God, that He put you in God, Ne demand and gave them to leave us or prevented us, but kinship and affinity one, the Messenger of Allah said, peace be upon him: «but the sons of the sons of Hashim and demand one thing so». And pinned between his fingers.
