أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الثِّقَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبَانٍ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا بَعَثَ جَيْشًا أَمَّرَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَمِيرًا، وَقَالَ: «فَإِذَا لَقِيتَ عَدُوًّا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ فَادْعُهُمْ إِلَى ثَلاثِ خِلالٍ أَوْ ثَلاثِ خِصَالٍ، شَكَّ عَلْقَمَةُ، ادْعُهُمْ إِلَى الإِسْلامِ، فَإِنْ أَجَابُوكَ فَاقْبَلْ مِنْهُمْ وَكُفَّ عَنْهُمْ ثُمَّ ادْعُهُمْ إِلَى التَّحَوُّلِ مِنْ دَارِهِمْ إِلَى دَارِ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ، فَأَخْبِرْهُمْ إِنْ هُمْ فَعَلُوا أَنَّ لَهُمْ مَا لِلْمُهَاجِرِينَ، وَأَنَّ عَلَيْهِمْ مَا عَلَيْهِمْ فَإِنِ اخْتَارُوا الْمُقَامَ فِي دَارِهِمْ أَنَّهُمْ كَأَغْرَابِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ يَجْرِي عَلَيْهِمْ حُكْمُ اللَّهِ كَمَا يَجْرِي عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ، وَلَيْسَ لَهُمْ فِي الْفَيْءِ شَيْءٌ إِلا أَنْ يُجَاهِدُوا مَعَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يُجِيبُوكَ فَادْعُهُمْ إِلَى أَنْ يُعْطَوُا الْجِزْيَةَ عَنْ يَدٍ وَهُمْ صَاغِرُونَ، فَإِنْ فَعَلُوا فَاقْبَلْ مِنْهُمْ وَدَعْهُمْ، فَإِنْ أَبَوْا فَاسْتَعِنْ بِاللَّهِ تَعَالَى وَقَاتِلْهُمْ» .
مسند امام شافی · Hadith 1732
Tell us Shafei may Allah be pleased with him, he said: Tell us the confidence, Mohammed bin Aban, Alqamah bin Marthad, Suleiman ibn Buraydah from his father: that the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him was if sent an army ordered them prince, and said: «If you received an enemy From the participants, invite them to three or three qualities, doubt Alqamah, invite them to Islam, then he answered you, and he forsaken you About from their house to house immigrants, tell them if they did to them as immigrants, and what they have it chose to place in their own home they Kograb Muslims being on them the judgment of God as being Muslims, and not for them in the shade anything but grapple with Muslims, he did not Answer you, then call them to give the reward by hand while they are giving birth, so if they do, accept them and bid them, If they refuse, ask for God Almighty and fought them ».
