وَأَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ أَثِقُ بِهِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ: أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ لَمَّا جَلَدَ الثَّلاثَةَ اسْتَتَابَهُمْ، فَرَجَعَ اثْنَانِ فَقَبِلَ شَهَادَتَهُمَا وَأَبَى أَبُو بَكْرَةَ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ فَرَدَّ شَهَادَتَهُ. أَخْرَجَ الثَّلاثَةَ الأَحَادِيثَ وَقَوْلَ الشَّافِعِيِّ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْيَمِينِ مَعَ الشَّاهِدِ.
مسند امام شافی · Hadith 1705
He told me to trust him from the people of the city, from Ibn Shihab from Said ibn al-Musayyib: that Omar ibn al-Khattab may Allah be pleased with him for the three skin Asttabhm, and he came back two before their testimony and refused Abu Bakra to return an individual testimony. Take the three hadiths and al-Shafi’i's sayings from the book of oaths with the witness.
