أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ: أَنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ وَجَدَ مَعَ امْرَأَتِهِ رَجُلا آخَرَ فَقَتَلَهُ أَوْ قَتَلَهَا، قَالَ: إِنْ لَمْ يَأْتِ بِأَرْبَعَةِ شُهَدَاءَ فَلْيُعْطَ بِرُمَّتِهِ.

Tell us the owner, Yahya bin Said, the son of Musayyib: that Ali ibn Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him asked about a man who found his wife with another man, killing him or kill her, he said, that did not come with four martyrs Vliet as a whole.
