قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: أَنَّ سَعْدًا قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ وَجَدْتُ مَعَ امْرَأَتِي رَجُلا أُمْهِلُهُ حَتَّى آتِيَ بِأَرْبَعَةِ شُهَدَاءَ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «نَعَمْ» .

مسند امام شافی · Hadith 1700

Shafei said: Tell us Malik Suhail bin Abi Salih from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him: that Sa'd said: O Messenger of Allah, what do you think if any man with my wife until I gave him four martyrs? And the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Yes.”
