أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ: أَنَّهُ شَكَّ فِي ابْنٍ لَهُ، فَدَعَا لَهُ الْقَافَةَ.

مسند امام شافی · Hadith 1695

Al-Shafi’i, may God be pleased with him, told us, he said: Ibn Aliya told us, on the authority of Hamid, on the authority of Anas: that he doubted the son of God for him.
