أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَ مَالِكٌ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ الْحُصَيْنِ: أَنَّ أَبَا غَطَفَانَ بْنَ طَرِيفٍ الْمُزَنِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ مَرْوَانَ بْنَ الْحَكَمِ أَرْسَلَهُ إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَسْأَلُهُ فِي الضِّرْسِ؟ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: فِيهِ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الإِبِلِ، فَرَدَّنِي مَرْوَانُ إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، فَقَالَ: أَفَتَجْعَلُ مُقَدَّمَ الْفَمِ مِثْلَ الأَضْرَاسِ؟ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: لَوْ أَنَّكَ لا تَعْتَبِرُ ذَلِكَ إِلا بِالأَصَابِعِ عَقْلُهَا سَوَاءٌ. قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ: فَهَذَا مِمَّا يَدُلُّ عَلَى أَنَّ الشَّفَتَيْنِ عَقْلُهُمَا سَوَاءٌ وَقَدْ جَاءَ فِي الشَّفَتَيْنِ سِوَى هَذَا آثَارٌ. أَخْرَجَ الأَوَّلَ مِنْ كِتَابِ جِرَاحِ الْخَطَأِ، وَالثَّانِيَ وَالثَّالِثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ جِرَاحِ الْعَمْدِ، وَالرَّابِعَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الرِّسَالَةِ، وَالْخَامِسَ فِي كِتَابِ اخْتِلافِ مَالِكٍ وَالشَّافِعِيِّ، وَالسَّادِسَ وَقَوْلَ الشَّافِعِيِّ مِنْ كِتَابِ الدِّيَاتِ وَالْقِصَاصِ.

Tell us Mohammed bin Hassan, said: forebode Malik, said Dawood ibn al-Husayn told us that Abu Gtefan ibn Tarif Muzani told him that Marwan ibn al-Hakam sent him to Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him in asking him Toothache? Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with him, said: There are five camels, and Marwan sent me back to Ibn Abbas, so he said: Is Afkal Al-Mufgal Al-Amad Ibn Abbas said: If you only consider that with the fingers of her mind, both. Al-Shafi’i said: These are indications that both lips have their brains in mind, and these lips have had only traces. The first book out of the wrong surgeon, and the second and third book of surgeon Mayors, and the fourth book of the letter, and the fifth in the book of the different owner and Shafei, and the sixth Shafei and the words of the book of retribution and blood money.
