أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانٍ، عَنِ اللَّيْثِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ: أَنَّهُ قَالَ: عَقْلُ الْعَبْدِ فِي ثَمَنِهِ كَجِرَاحِ الْحُرِّ فِي دِيَتِهِ. وَقَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ: وَكَانَ رِجَالٌ سِوَاهُ يَقُولُونَ: يُقَوَّمُ سِلْعَةً. أَخْرَجَ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ مِنْ كِتَابِ الصَّيْدِ وَالذَّبَائِحِ.

Yahya ibn Hassan, on the authority of Al-Lyth ibn Sa`d, told us about Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Sa’id ibn al-Musayyib: “He said: Ibn Shihab said: There were only men who said: He would straighten a good. Take the two hadiths out of the book of hunting and sacrifices.
