أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ وَعَطَاءٍ، قَالُوا: أَدْرَكْنَا النَّاسَ عَلَى أَنَّ دِيَةَ الْحُرِّ الْمُسْلِمِ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِائَةٌ مِنَ الإِبِلِ، فَقَوَّمَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ تِلْكَ الدِّيَةَ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْقُرَى أَلْفَ دِينَارٍ أَوِ اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَلْفَ دِرْهَمٍ، وَدِيَةَ الْحُرَّةِ الْمُسْلِمَةِ إِذَا كَانَتْ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْقُرَى خَمْسَ مِائَةِ دِينَارٍ أَوْ سِتَّةَ آلافِ دِرْهَمٍ، فَإِذَا كَانَ الَّذِي أَصَابَهَا مِنَ الأَعْرَابِ فَدِيَتُهَا خَمْسُونَ مِنَ الإِبِلِ وَدِيَةُ الأَعْرَابِيَّةِ إِذَا أَصَابَهَا الأَعْرَابِيُّ خَمْسُونَ مِنَ الإِبِلِ لا يُكَلَّفُ الأَعْرَابِيُّ الذَّهَبَ وَلا الْوَرِقَ. أَخْرَجَ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ مِنْ كِتَابِ جِرَاحِ الْخَطَأِ.

Tell us the Muslim bin Khalid, Obaidullah ibn Umar, Ayoub bin Musa, from Ibn Shihab from Makhoul and tender, they said, people realized that the free Muslim friendly at the time of the Prophet peace be upon him one hundred camels, Vqom Omar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah For that blood money is paid to the people of the villages for a thousand dinars or twelve thousand dirhams. The amount of money is free from Islam if it is now Or six thousand dirhams, if hit by Bedouins who have redeemed fifty camels and friendly syntactical if hit by A'raabi fifty camels does not cost A'raabi gold nor paper.
