أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ غَيَّرَ دِينَهُ فَاضْرِبُوا عُنُقَهُ» . أَخْرَجَ الأَوَّلَ مِنْ كِتَابِ جِرَاحِ الْعَمْدِ، وَالثَّانِيَ مِنْ كِتَابِ اخْتِلافِ الْحَدِيثِ، وَالثَّالِثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الأُسَارَى والْغُلُولِ.

Malik told us about Zaid bin Islam: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Whoever changes his religion, strike and strike.” He removed the first from the book of surgeons, the second from the book of difference of hadeeth, and the third from the book of the captives and shortcomings.
