أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَعْدِ الْفَلَحَةِ مَوْلَى عُمَرَ، أَوِ ابْنِ سَعْدِ الْفَلَحَةِ: أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: مَا نَصَارَى الْعَرَبِ بِأَهْلِ كِتَابٍ، وَمَا تَحِلُّ لَنَا ذَبَائِحُهُمْ، وَمَا أَنَا بِتَارِكِهُمْ حَتَّى يُسْلِمُوا أَوْ أَضْرِبَ أَعْنَاقَهُمْ.

Tell us Ibrahim bin Abi Yahya, Abdullah ibn Dinar, Saad Filhh sire Omar, or Ibn Sa'd Filhh: that Omar ibn al-Khattab may Allah be pleased with him, said: What the Arab Christians of the people of the book, and solve our sacrifices, and what I Patarrkhm even surrender or strike Their necks.
