أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا حَاتِمٌ وَالدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ أَوْ أَحَدُهُمَا، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّهُ قَالَ: النُّونُ وَالْجَرَادُ ذَكِيٌّ.

Al-Shafi’i, may God be pleased with him, told us, he said: Hatim and the Dardari, or one of them, told us about Ja`far ibn Muhammad, the Prophet of Muhammad:
