قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ فِي كِتَابِهِ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ كُلِّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ.

Al-Shafi’i said in his book: Malik told us, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, on the authority of Abu Idris, on the authority of Abu Thalaba: that the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, peace be upon him.
