أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ: أَنَّهُ قِيلَ لَهُ: احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ حَجَمَهُ أَبُو طَيْبَةَ "، فَأَعْطَاهُ صَاعَيْنِ، وَأَمَرَ مَوَالِيَهُ أَنْ يُخَفِّفُوا عَنْهُ مِنْ ضَرِيبَتِهِ، وَقَالَ: «إِنَّ أَمْثَلَ مَا تَدَاوَيْتُمْ بِهِ الْحِجَامَةُ وَالْقُسْطُ الْبَحْرِيُّ لِصِبْيَانِكُمْ مِنَ الْعُذْرَةِ، وَلا تُعَذِّبُوهُمْ بِالْغَمْزِ» .

Abd Al-Wahhab Al-Thaqafi told us, on the authority of Hamid, on the authority of Anas: that he was told to him: the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was attacked.
