قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ فِي كِتَابِهِ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ أَحْيَا مَوَاتًا فَهُوَ لَهُ، وَلَيْسَ لِعِرْقِ ظَالِمٍ حَقٌّ» .
