قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ فِي كِتَابِهِ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ مَنَعَ فَضْلَ الْمَاءِ لِيَمْنَعَ بِهِ الْكَلأَ مَنَعَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى فَضْلَ رَحْمَتِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ» . أَخْرَجَ الثَّلاثَةَ الأَحَادِيثَ فِي كِتَابِ اخْتِلافِ مَالِكٍ وَالشَّافِعِيِّ، وَالرَّابِعَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الطَّعَامِ وَالشَّرَابِ وَعِمَارَةِ الأَرْضِينَ مِمَّا لَمْ يَسْمَعِ الرَّبِيعُ مِنَ الشَّافِعِيِّ.

Shafie said in his book: Tell us the owner, Abu trigger, the lame, from Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him: that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him said: «to prevent the preferred water to prevent him herbage prevent God preferred mercy Day of Resurrection». The three Hadiths are included in the book of the difference of Malik and al-Shafi’i, and the fourth from the food book, drink, and the architecture of al-Armin al-Ramin al-Ra`m al-Rāmeen
