Hadith 1495
Malik, on the authority of Amru Bin Yahya Al-Mazzani, told us about his father: that the laughing son of Khalifah, he gave a bay for him from Arid, from Ar-Arid. Muhammad ibn Masalamah refused, and the laugher spoke to him, Omar Bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him. Muhammad called Musallamah and commanded him to release him. Muhammad bin Musallamah said: No. Umar said: Your brother did not prevent what is good for him, and it is your benefit that you drink from him first and foremost and do not harm you. Omar said: By God, he would be able to exercise it even if it was on your stomach.
