أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَتِيقٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ السِّنِينَ.

Tell us Shafei may Allah be pleased with him, he said: Tell us Sufian bin appointment, Hamid bin Qais, Suleiman bin Atiq, Jabir: that the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him forbade the sale of years.
