عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْہُ قَالَ: تُدْنِی عَلَیْہَا مِنْ جَلا بِیبِھَا وَلا تَضْرِبُ بِہِ۔ قُلْتُ : وَمَا لا تَضْرِبُ بِہِ؟ فَأَشَارَلِی : کَمَا تَجَلْبَبُ الْمَرْأَۃُ ، ثُمَّ أَشَارَ إِلَی مَا عَلَی خَدِّھَا مِنَ الْجِلْبَابِ ، فَقَالَ: لا تُغَطِّیہِ فَتَضْرِبُ بِہِ عَلَی وَجْہِہَا ، فَذَلِکَ الَّذِی لا یَبْقَی عَلَیْھَا ، وَلَکِنْ تَسْدُلُھَا عَلَی وَجْھِھَا کَمَا ھُوَ مَسْدُولا وَلا تَقْلِبُہُ وَلا تَضْرِبُ بِہِ وَلا تَعْطِفُہُ۔
مسند امام شافی · Hadith 855
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with him, who said: “You will be lowered from me by means of it, and you will not be beaten with it.” I said: And why not strike me? Vocharlی: As Tjelbb Almroۃ, then pointed to the Khaddھa of robes, he said: Do not Ngtیہ Vtdharb Bہ on Jہہa, Vzlک which remains Alیھa, but Tsdlھa on Jھھa as is Msdola not Tqlbہ not hit Bہ not Tattvہ.
