عَنْ عَبْدِ اللہِ بْنِ أَبِی سَلَمَۃَ: أَنَّہُ قَالَ: سَمِعَ سَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِی وَقّاصٍ بَعْضَ بَنِی أَخِیہِ وَھُوَ یُلَبِّی: یَا ذَا الْمَعَارِجِ، فَقَالَ سَعْدٌ: الْمَعَارِجُ؟ إِنَّہُ لَذُو الْمَعَارِجِ ، فَقَالَ سَعْدٌ: الْمَعَارِجُ؟ إِنَّہُ لَذُو الْمَعَارِجِ، وَمَا ھَکَذَا کُنَّا نُلَبِّی عَلَی عَھْدِ رَسُولِ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ۔
مسند امام شافی · Hadith 822
On the authority of Abdullah ibn Abi Salma: He said: Saad bin Abi and a narrator heard some of the sons of my brother, and he asked: Yes. Those who are flashing, Saad said: The people who are fasting? We are the people of the battles, and so on, we were fulfilling the era of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him۔
