عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْہُ: أَنَّہُ قِیلَ لَہُ، کَیْفَ تَأْمُرُ بِالْعُمْرَۃِ قَبْلَ الْحَجِّ وَاللہُ تَعَالَی یَقُولُ:( وَأَتِمُّوا الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَۃَ لِلہِ ) [ ابقرۃ:196 ] ؟ فَقَالَ: کَیْفَ تَقْرَءُ ونَ إِنَّ الدَّیْنَ قَبْلَ الْوَصِیَّۃِ أَوِ الْوَصِیَّۃَ قَبْلَ الدَّیْنِ؟ قَالُوا: الْوَصِیَّۃُ قَبْلَ الدَّیْنِ۔ قَالَ: فَبِأَیَّتِھِمَا تَبْدَءُ ونَ ، قَالُوا : بِالدَّیْنِ ، قَالَ: فَھُوَا ذَلِکَ ۔ قَالَ الشَّافِعِیُّ : یَعْنِی أَنَّ التَّقْدِیمَ جَائِزٌ۔ أَخْرَجَ الْحَدِیثَیْنِ فِی کِتَابِ اخْتِلافِ مَالِکٍ وَالشَّافِعِیِّ ، وَالثَّالِثَ مِنْ کِتَابِ الطَّعَامِ وَالشَّرَبِ وَعِمَرَۃِ الأَرْضِینَ مِمَّا لَمْ یَسْمَعِ الرَّبِیعُ مِنَ الشَّافِعِیِّ۔
مسند امام شافی · Hadith 809
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with him: “What was said by God, how did you command the age before the Hajj and the Lord?” He said: How do you read that religion is before a trustee or a trustee before a debt? They said: The guardians before the debt۔ He said: So where do you start, they said: With debt, he said: So they are so۔ Al-Shafi’i said: It means that submission is permissible. The two hadiths were included in the Book of the Disposition of Malik and Al-Shafi’i, and the third from the Book of Food, Drinking, and the Reconstruction of the Two Holy Places
