حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ، وَإِبْرَاھِیمُ بْنُ مَیْسَرَۃَ، وَھِشَامُ بْنُ حُجَیْرَۃَ ، سَمِعُوا طَاوُسًا ، یَقُلُ: خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْمَدِینَۃِ لا یُسَمِّی حَجًّا وَلا عُمْرَۃً یَنْتَظِرُ الْقَضَاءَ، فَنَزَلَ عَلَیْہِ الْقَضَاءُ وَھُوَ بَیْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَۃِ ، فَأَمَرَ أَصْحَابَہُ مَنْ کَانَ مِنْھُمْ أَھَلَّ وَلَمْ یَکُنْ مَعَہُ ھَدْ یٌ أَنْ یَجْعَلَہَا عُمْرَۃً، وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ:(( لَوِ اسْتَقْبَلْتُ مِنْ أَمْرِی مَا اسْتَدْبَرْتُ لَمَا سُقْتُ الْھَدْیَ، وَلَکِنْ لَبَّدْتُ رَأْسِی ، وَسُقْتُ ھَدْیِی ، وَلَیْسَ لِی مَحِلُّ ھَدْیِی))، فَقَامَ إِلَیْہِ سُرَقَۃُ بْنُ مَالِکٍ فَقَالَ: یَا رَسُولَ اللہِ ، اقْضِ لَنَا قَضَا ءَ قَوْمٍ کَأَنَّمَا وُلِدُوا الْیَوْمَ ، أَعُمْرَتُنَا ھَذِہِ لِعَامِنَا ھَذَا أَمْ لِلأَبَدِ؟ قَالَ:(( بَلْ لِلأَبَدِ))، دَخَلَتِ الْعُمْرَۃُ فِی الْحَجِّ إِلَی یَوْمِ الْقِیَامَۃِ ۔ قَالَ: وَدَخَلَ عَلِیٌّ مِنَ الْیَمَنِ رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْہُ، قَالَ: وَدَخَلَ عَلِیٌّ مِنَ الْیَمَنِ رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْہُ، فَقَالَ لَہُ الَنَّبِیُّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ:(( بِمَ أَھْلَلْت))؟ فَقَالَ: أَحَدُھُمَا عَنْ طَاوُسٍ: إِھْلالَ النَّبِیِّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہُ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ الآخَرُ: لَبَّیْکَ حَجَّۃَ النَّبِیِّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ۔

He said: He came to me from Yemen, may God be pleased with him, he said: And he came to me from Yemen, may God be pleased with you, and he (may God’s peace be upon him) said: He said: One of them is from a peacock: the neglect of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and the other said: God bless you, the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him
